Certified Birth Doula Care
I am certified in 2 different philosophies of Birth Doula Care, DONA International and Birth Boot Camp Doulas. Includes 2 prenatal visits, continually support via call, text or email, educational information, on call at 38 weeks until baby is born, being with you during your labor when you feel it is time, through your birth and stay up to 2 hours postpartum, 1 postpartum visit.
Comfort Measure Care
2 hour prenatal visit to show you and your partner comfort techniques you can use during labor, go over the stages of labor, breastfeeding and postpartum care in the comfort of your own home.
Breastfeeding Care
2 Hours breastfeeding care in the comfort of your own home. We will work on positioning, latch, baby care, nutritional support and answer any questions you may have.
Postpartum Doula Care
Postpartum support is crucial for a good start to parenthood. My support includes, baby care, breastfeeding, emotional support, prep meals, light cleaning, education on parenting, additional rest for you and what every else you may need to make your transition into parenthood easier. Hours can be purchased in blocks of time, minimum 4 hours.
Overnight Postpartum Care
My overnight support, 10 hour blocks, additional hours can be added upon request, will really help you and your partner get some much needed rest. I help new parents with baby care, breastfeeding, emotional support and support through the night.
Parenting Care
I have been a Volunteer Minister for the past 15 years. I am very educated and experienced in helping parents parent their children. A few helpful basic tips can really make your parenting job way easier. I will educate you on how to handle an upset child, get him to follow your directions and carry them out, tantrums, help them recover from an injury, have a happy baby, etc.
***Once you hire me for any of my Doulas care services, I will be available for call, text or email support at any time. I do believe educational support is very important to help you make the best decisions possible for your birth, new family and parenting decisions. (Additional fees may apply for clients 30 miles outside my radius and multiples.)
I have Birth Doula Care availability in October 2015 and January-March 2016.
